There are thoughtful touches such as binoculars, an easel with art materials and a writing desk, should your creative instincts be inspired by the landscape and the wildlife you spot. Bedouin jars for water and dates can be found at most doorways and in the beds that line the tiny road between the suites; chests sit at the end of every bed and ornate Omani doors in heavy wood are framed in glass tables.
